In many ways I am fascinated with Sonar's Matrix View because it allows anyone to quickly arrange a couple of random bits of sound phrases into, what is now commonly refered to as, “music”. :) While I would like to think that music has a free-minded nature, it appears that we are capturing more and more of it and locking it into the grid, e.g. “Matrix View” of Sonar 8.5.
