If your plug-in or a software synthesizer has a Hot Spot Clicker preset written for it, this procedure is actually very easy. Most HSC presets, written by Phil Muir and distributed with JSonar provide a shortcut key, ALT+SHIFT+P, that will automatically place your cursor on the “presets” combo box. Here is step-by-step procedure that shows how to save a new preset when such an HSC preset is used:
Please note: do not load any other presets or change any parameters before you click on the “Save” button as described above. Otherwise, your preset name may be lost and you will have to redo the procedure again.
If the plug-in you are working with does not have an HSC set associated with it, you can save your plug-in preset as follows:
Please note: do not load any other presets or change any parameters before you click on the “Save” button as described above. Otherwise, your preset name may be lost and you will have to redo the procedure again.
This issue may be fixed in the future versions of Sonar or JSonar.
